EMS 2018 Autumn Concert Videos
Below are a few videos from the recent EMS 2018 concert.
With quite a bit interesting drama during the concert, such as someone removed my glockenspiel part of the music right before the concert, therefore as I discovered right in the middle of the concert, the best I could do was making a decision within a few seconds and playing from my memories...

Selection of Aladdin was absolutely exciting, I'm glad I managed to jump between about 10 different instruments, plus doing one hand roll on the cymbal and playing the triangle at the same time... though sadly I felt bad for cracking the first tam tam note...

Then for the first time ever for me to live perform four mallets on vibraphone, on my arrangement on harp part of Ravel's Pavane of Dead Princess, glad I survived.

Marche Slave was obviously a killer... I had been really proud of my mimic on Rob Cossom's cymbal swirl the whole year, and being told that I was doing really good job on cymbals. Then, after looking forward to it the whole time, here comes to the Methodist Ladies' College's ridiculous brand cymbals... which was even 3 times heavier than Cossom's Melbourne Symphony Orchestra cymbals! How dare any cymbals be heavier than Cossom's cymbals?! I was close to being dead by the end of that piece... though still managed to complete one Cossom's classic famous cymbal swirl - with all my strength...

Thanks to our winds ensemble conductor Murray's kind personal message appreciated my work on wrangling whole percussion section. Murray gave me high acknowledgement on my work this time and told me what I have done was incredible. I really appreciated his comment.
